Recently Derek Jeter surprised everyone by announcing on Facebook that 2014 would be his final year. Derek Jeter has served as a spokesman to Upper Deck and a friend over the years so everyone here at headquarters took a moment to reflect after seeing the message on Jeter’s great career, but for us, it all started with his rookie card. And while his 1993 SP Authentic Jeter Rookie card is probably his most beloved card, most people have his 1993 Upper Deck Rookie card in their collection.
