The Authority™ is a newly launched all-in-one e-commerce platform for vaulted collectibles. As a Connected Retailer, e-Pack users now have the power of The Authority™ at their fingertips. So, let’s break down exactly what this means, and what collectors can look forward to.
As the world’s first real-time, vertically integrated, multi-category collectible e-commerce platform, The Authority™ enables users to instantly vault, purchase, encapsulate, authenticate, grade, sell, and fulfill a collectible within minute. Those services are available for trading cards, comics, action figures, and other types of collectibles. Once you create an account with The Authority™, you can link it to your Upper Deck e-Pack account. Once linked, you can transfer comics, action figures, and Funko Pop! figures purchased on Collect Forever, as well as Authentic Digital Collectibles from Evolution, to The Authority™.
All items are securely vaulted at The Authority™, which means you can manage your entire collection at your fingertips while the items are stored safely in a secure vault, and you can choose to have your physical items shipped home to you at any time.
Once you’ve transferred your collectibles from e-Pack to The Authority™, you can take advantage of all the platform’s features. On The Authority™ marketplace, you can conveniently list collectibles for sale and accept offers from other collectors, as well as purchase and make offers on thousands of different items.
Once physical items like comic books and Funko Pop! figures are transferred from e-Pack to a linked Authority™ account, they can be upgraded to a hard slab and instantly grade. No need to wait weeks, or even months, to find out the grade of your collectible – you can see it with the click of a button.
