When Upper Deck added the Sub Zero insert set to the annual NHL® ICE product, fans fell in love with the acetate cards.
When Upper Deck decided to sweeten the pot by including a redemption good for an entire 5-card Retro version this season, fans thought that was pretty cool too. The checklist is made up of the game’s brightest young stars:

Recently Upper Deck shared some “Easter Egg” surprise additions we’ve made to sets over the years and we are excited to report the 2017-18 Sub Zero Retro Rookies Gold redemption sets will have a unique bonus to them. Fans will get the 5-card gold version, but the Connor McDavid card in the set will be autographed! Below is an image of the McDavid signed card that will be included in the Gold redemption sets.
