This week Upper Deck released 2013 Ultimate Collection Football, a super-premium gridiron release featuring rookie stars and legendary players. And so far it seems to be a hit. Take for example what happened at Nick’s Sports Cards in Dallas, Texas. Debbie Redwine at the shop shared with Upper Deck via email, “I sold three packs to a customer who proceeded to buy every pack in the case and LOVED it! He pulled an Eddie Lacy one-of-one booklet autograph rookie card! You guys are hitting home runs on all of your products as of late and we couldn’t be happier for our customers!”
The premium look and feel of the cards coupled with hard-signed autograph content on all single-signed cards have fans fired up. On a hobby message board a fan said, “Can we please take a moment to applaud UD for the fact that it looks like pretty much everything in this product is on-card?”
