Darigan’s Paint Brush
Ever since the release of Champions of Meridell, Darigan Neopets have been the dominant choice in tournament play. Being the only Rainbow Pool Neopets capable of maintaining card advantage made Darigan Neopets uniquely powerful and meta warping. This has only grown over time, with every archetype running Darigan Neopets regardless of whether they cared for the synergy of being able to discard cards. While we like powerful Rainbow Pools, having such reliable access to a card draw engine as early as turn 1 has proved far too powerful and far too centralizing to the meta. As such, Darigan’s Paint Brush is banned. As a note, Darigan Neopets will remain legal to run in the Rainbow Pool and will remain limited, despite the Paint Brush being gone.
