With the New Year quickly approaching, one of the biggest hockey events to help kick off 2019 is the Bridgestone NHL® Winter Classic at Notre Dame Stadium where the Chicago Blackhawks face off the Boston Bruins on January 1, 2019. Just for this event, an exclusive green parallel set of the Winter Classic cards were created for Upper Deck e-Pack. Everyday of the Fan Fest, collectors will receive a QR code that gifts them two different cards per day. By attending all three days, fans will be able to collect the entire green parallel set. This exclusive e-Pack set will only be available at the Upper Deck booth at Millennium Park and they tie directly to physical cards.
Winter Classic Memorabilia Fun Fact – Did you know Upper Deck secures items like the hockey nets, pucks and player jerseys from the Winter Classic to use in trading cards for sets like SP Game-Used? Lot of the equipment from this memorable game will be part of future trading card sets!
