He’s just a 20-year-old import from Finland, but tonight Teuvo Teravainen became a superstar around the world. In a hotly contested Game 1 between the Minnesota Wild and the Chicago Blackhawks, Teuvo Teravainen fired a bullet that ricocheted in giving the Blackhawks a lead they would keep. He is the youngest member of the Chicago Blackhawks to score a game-winning playoff goal since Jeremy Roenick.
There was no doubt Teuvo Teravainen had skills and many believed it wasn’t a matter of if Teuvo Teravainen would start making plays; it was a matter of when.
