You can play Legendary: A Marvel Deckbuilding Game – Second Edition with any or all expansions previously put out for the Legendary line of Marvel products. At its core, Legendary® is a modular game that has the capacity to constantly grow and change, ensuring that no two games are ever alike. One way we build on that experience is through our expansions, and we did not want to lose that as we move forward.
Why should I get an expansion?
We have a large assortment of options when it comes to helping to expand your Legendary experience. While the Second Edition core set is a blank slate mechanically, featuring some of the most popular characters from Marvel Comics with all new original art, you will find adding an additional expansion or two is the perfect way to tailor your experience directly to you. You can add more of your favorite heroes or face off against the mastermind you truly love to hate. Expansions also bring in a new level of complexity in keywords and special mechanics if you want that special extra challenging experience.
