History and Art Come to Life in Upper Deck’s 2014 Goodwin Champions Set

There are so many elements that make Goodwin Champions a favorite with fans every year from the painted set to the hard-signed autograph cards, but more than anything, it is the different aspects of the set which really excite collectors. And one of the most compelling ways Goodwin Champions inspires collectors who open these packs are through amazing inserts series like the Museum Collection and Art of the Ages.

In 2014 Goodwin Champions the Museum Collection insert set focusses its attention on a huge conflict in modern history with the subject being World War I. Upper Deck staff have worked for months to acquire authentic memorabilia from this historic event and are making them available through rare insert cards found randomly in packs of 2014 Goodwin Champions. With different levels of rarity, these will be very exciting for collectors to find. Below is the checklist with some live imager. A good portion of these cards will be oversize cards that would not fit in a pack so they will be redemptions.

We have shared some imagery for the Art of the Ages cards previously, but as more and more came in, we were continually blown away by the quality of the cards the artists were able to deliver. Recreating classic art from the Masters is difficult enough on a normal sized canvas, but when you shrink it down to a 2.5” x 3.5” canvas, that is an entirely different ball game! This marks the second year of their inclusion in Goodwin Champions and 2015 will finish up this memorable series.
