For close to ten years, hobby shops throughout North America, Upper Deck, the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players Association have successfully run the National Hockey Card Day promotion. The promotion allows for sports fans to try hockey cards for absolutely free just by visiting a participating hobby shop or retailer on Saturday, February 18, 2017.
That’s right, just by walking in one of the participating retailers on Saturday, February 18, you can try hockey cards for absolutely free. At hobby shops, you can get a free five-card pack and at retail stores, you can get a free 8-card sheet (Canada exclusive). The Hockey Hall-of-Fame in Toronto will also be participating providing 8-card sheets to fans on Saturday!
By visiting multiple shops, you can put together the entire 15-card set made up of rookies, veterans and legends. Don’t wait too long though as packs are only available while supplies last! With this incredible rookie class, fans will be fired up to get out to shops to collect these cards.
