Like the rest of the country, we cheered on the Park View All-Stars from Chula Vista, CA as they won the Little League World Series a little less than two weeks ago. Being that we work in San Diego county though, the win meant a little more for the community we work and live in. So needless to say, we were thrilled to have the team visit our office today. As I write this, the 2009 Champions are in the room next to me, being greeted by Upper Deck.
Most importantly? We’re putting together trading cards for them!
This is an honor usually reserved for big leaguers . . . but considering these guys just took home the championship for not only our country, but California and San Diego itself, we had to give them their own cards.
We’ll have more on the champs tomorrow, but here’s a look at what’s going on this very moment.
