The first batch of hand-painted “Art of the Ages” cards came into Upper Deck headquarters today and they literally had seasoned trading card staff members blown-away. Recreating famous works of art has been done for centuries, but doing it, by hand, on a 2.5” x 3.5” canvas is truly amazing. Especially with regard to the attention for detail the artist had in capturing so many amazing aspects of the original paintings.
