What is National Hockey Card Day?
National Hockey Card Day is an annual event founded by Upper Deck, a leading sports and entertainment company. This event takes place on April 13, 2024 and is a celebration of hockey and the joy of collecting hockey cards. On this day, participating retailers will offer free NHL® trading cards to collectors and hockey fans worldwide.
This event is an excellent opportunity for new collectors to connect with experienced hobbyists and share in the thrill of collecting. This year, Upper Deck is offering a universal set, available to collectors around the world, without different packs between USA and Canada
PRO TIP: By visiting multiple participating stores, collectors can receive a free National Hockey Card Day pack and trade with other collectors to complete the set.
What Are In The Packs?
The National Hockey Card Day checklist features ten rookie cards, ten veterans,
and ten legends. Additionally, collectors can receive a 31st Rookie Moments card
with a $10 purchase of an Upper Deck product at participating retailers while supplies
last.
Canadian collectors can also look forward to the free 9-card sheets available at select retail stores in Canada such as Pro Hockey Life, Sports Rousseau, and Hockey Hall of Fame.
