Are You The “Most Valuable Person”?
Upper Deck is looking for the most passionate and dedicated fans of the NHL and
their teams to be crowned the “Most Valuable Person”! Fans that have made a positive
impact on their fan community and culture may enter for their chance to be an MVP.
Entrants must be 18 years or older or have reached the age of majority in their
jurisdiction of residence and acknowledge and agree to contest rules. Some exclusions

Voting is simple. Just click on the nominee’s My MVP card below and “like” their
post on Twitter

How The Contest Works
Based on the nominations, an Upper Deck panel of judges will choose up to five nominees
to represent each participating NHL® team to compete in Twitter vote. Not all submitted
nominees will advance to the Twitter vote. There will be 2 different votes:
(1) Team MVPs chosen for each NHL® team and (2) one ultimate MVP winner.
For each public vote, Upper Deck will post the nominees on Twitter. The nominees
with the most likes during the specific time period will advance to the next round.
- Team MVPs – The chosen nominees for each NHL® team will be posted on Twitter.
The public will be able to vote for their favorite MVP nominee on Upper Deck’s Twitter
account, @UpperDeckHockey,
where the public will be able to vote for their favorite MVP nominee from November
18 2022 at 12pm PST to November 29, 2022 at 12pm PST. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
winner for each NHL team will be announced on November 30, 2022 on Twitter.
- Ultimate MVP Winner – All the 1st place winners from each team will be placed
in a second Twitter vote on the Upper Deck Twitter account from December 2, 2022
at 12pm PST to December 12, 2022 at 12pm PST to determine the top 3 finalists. The
Ultimate MVP winner will be chosen from the top 3 finalists by an Upper Deck panel
of judges and will be announced on December 14, 2022.
