Game Dated Moments highlighting key players will release throughout the 2022 season
exclusively through Upper Deck e-Pack®
CARLSBAD, CA (April 1, 2022) – Upper Deck, the worldwide leader in authentic trading cards,
memorabilia, and collectibles, announced today a new line of Call of Duty League™ esports trading cards.
This new release will be the company’s second venture into esports, as Upper Deck
produced exclusive trading cards for the Overwatch League™ since its inaugural season
back in 2018.
“The popularity of esports has grown exponentially in recent years along with the
demand for gaming-based collectibles,” said Jason Masherah, President of Upper Deck.
“We are excited to release the first Call of Duty League Game Dated Moments cards
and look forward to releasing additional products later this year.”
Fans of Call of Duty®, the popular video game franchise, and Call of Duty League™
will be able to collect limited-edition Game Dated Moments® cards of top-performing
players from the 2022 season starting on March 25th, exclusively through UpperDeckEpack.com. Upper Deck e-Pack is
an online platform that allows fans to buy, collect, store and trade cards at any
time, from anywhere in the world using a smart phone, tablet, or computer.
The new Game Dated Moments cards will highlight the intense matchups this year.
They will showcase the most memorable events through the season, which has already
proven to be an exciting one for fans and players. The set will include the Championship
weekend and will be available for purchase for one week following each qualifier
and major tournaments.
“Physical trading cards for Call of Duty League have been a fan request for some
time, and we’re excited to deliver with an exceptional partner like Upper Deck,”
Daniel Siegel, VP of Consumer Products at Activision Blizzard. “Fans can now collect
actual moments that will become part of Call of Duty League’s history through Game
Dated Moments® cards, collecting and trading for current and future seasons to come.”
Fans that collect all 20 Game Dated Moments cards from the 2022 Call of Duty League
season will have the opportunity to earn a limited 4-card championship Team Autographed
Achievement Set through Upper Deck e-Pack’s achievement program, although these
achievements will be limited to the first 199 collectors who redeem them.
The company is planning to release a complete Call of Duty League trading
card set later this year, which will also be available through the e-Pack platform,
